         Cover Letter:   The process of writing this paper has allowed me to combine my personal opinions about the topic of eating disorders with scientific findings, in order to form a compelling argument that I have not yet heard. I take pride in my stance on the topic and feel by writing about eating disorders I have the potential to begin to address some stigmas about the disease that exists within our society. Of course recovery was a difficult part to write about since the experience is individual to each person and there is no linear road to health, however I believe the difficulty in the writing process is symbolic of the process itself.
